Today we have some new releases from the domain of classical music. Now available on tape are Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by André Previn and Maria Callas singing Arias from Verdi’s operas Don Carlos, Aroldo as well as Otello.

THE THE and Alphonse Mouzon are now available on master tape. THE THE album Ensoulment is their first release in 25 years and combines rock, pop and post-punk into their unique style. Alphonse Mouzon Jazz-Rock fusion can be heard on the MPS recording In Search Of A Dream, beautifully showcasing his work from the late 1970s.

Revox | Horch House releases two new albums on tape! Status Quo brings us a special recording from the legendary Wacken Open Air, probably the most important Metal festival in the world. Despite Status Quo being a rather unusual guest at Wacken, they rock the Holy Ground in northern Germany just like the best of the Metal world would do, getting Down & Dirty in the infamous mud of the festival. From the Olympus of Jazz, Oscar Peterson’s collaboration with Herb Ellis can be heard on the album “Hello Herbie”. Oscar Peterson shows all his skill on the piano, accompanied by the masterful play of Herb Ellis on guitar.

Revox | Horch House releases two stunning live recordings from bands we all know and love from the 80s on master tape. Toto’s outstanding live performance in Amsterdam 2003 is captured beautifully on master tape, now you can experience this magical piece in the best sound quality. Foreigner brings us a concert from 2010, where you can experience their masterpieces recorded at the legendary Camden roundhouse in London, true to the albums title “All Engines On”.
